Jesus the Leader in Front

It's been said that vision is one of three big things that people need from a leader, answers the question "where are we going". The other two are answers to the questions; "what should I do" and "how am I doing". Jesus stands out as the leader in front and we are his followers. Hebrews 12:1-2 says, "throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith..." Here's some scriptures to keep the vision while running the race.

Mark 10:32
As they were going up the road to Jerusalem, Jesus was walking ahead of them. The disciples were filled with awe, but those who followed were afraid.
Proverbs 4:25
Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.

Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken you me in your way. Psalm 119:37
The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. Matthew 6:22

Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

Matthew 5:15
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a lampstand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your vision is clear, your whole body also is full of light. But when it is poor, your body is full of darkness.
