Jesus teaching on Ezekiel 17-18 in John 15

Listening to Ezekiel this morning made me think about Jesus the Son of Man,  Son of God. Jesus seems to be teaching on Ezekiel 17-18 in John 15.

Again, Ezekiel 21
this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Take off the turban, remove the crown. It will not be as it was: The lowly will be exalted and the exalted will be brought low.
Ezekiel 21:26 NIV

Ezekiel is referencing Babylon as a tool of God's sword of judgement

Matt 23:12
Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

Jesus is referencing religious leaders hypocrisy
woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.

A ruin! A ruin! I will make it a ruin! The crown will not be restored until he to whom it rightfully belongs shall come; to him I will give it.’
Ezekiel 21:27 NIV
