Humble yourself, cast your burden on the Lord (Psalm 55:22;I Peter 5:6-7)

Psalm 55:22;37:5,Proverbs 16:3;I Peter 5:6-7

Reading CHRONIC ILLNESS SCRIPTURES this morning and noticed a new testament idea in Psalm 55:22, same idea as 1 Peter 5:7.

I also noticed in the different versions of the Bible cross-references don't always show these connections. In Psalm 55:22 ESV, it referenced other scriptures that then reference 1 Peter 5:7, however, AMP version referenced only 1 Peter 5:7.

Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail). Psalm 55:22 AMP

Commit everything you do to the Lord.
    Trust him, and he will help you. Psalm 37:5 NLT

Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him],
And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. Proverbs 16:3 AMP

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time, casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. 1 Peter 5:6-7 AMP
