Funny joke, about a man who wanted to know what God wanted from him. He opened the Bible and pointed at random. He saw "cattle" so he went and invested in cattle. Later he did it again and saw "oil". When that business wasn't going well, he opened the Bible again and pointed. Looked and saw "chapter 11"

A key message is that in order to know the specific will of God in your life, you have to care about and implement the general will for God in your life. How?
- Every day spend time in His presence, make an appointment and keep it.
- Seek and value the general revelation of God.
- God comes to a prepared place and people.
When you have a question or problem in an area of your life, seek Biblical council of people with the same or similar problem. Ask God to make it his word living in active through the Spirit he's put in you when you believed in Jesus. Heb 4:12
- Worship in spirit and truth, with your heart and His word. Remember his promises, faithfulness and love.
- Pray for ears that hear, eyes that see and heart that understands
- Don't just hear the words, do what it says and be blessed
