This year I'm challenging myself to memorize more scripture, word for word. I'm using the ESV version which is a good word for word that my church uses. This Sunday we heard a great teaching on how the Gospel generates hope and I was talking with my brother about this and how I had a general idea of what Col 1:21-23 was talking about but word for word memorization would have made the conversation go better. So while I'm resolved for Scripture Memory he's resolved to finding the truth. This morning I came across a post that has Dozen Texts About the Truth
So I'll make it a point to memorize these scriptures that highlight that our souls desperately need the gospel.

There are many scriptures that declare the gospel. The Book of Acts has many sermons giving that tell common people about the the Gospel truth.
