I have Hindu friends and have known and conversed with
Buddhists, Muslims, Jehovah’s Witness and many more non-religious people. A
popular idea is that all religion is man’s attempt to understand their world
and reach out to a deity/super-natural power that will help them in some way
live a better/happier life. However Christianity is the only religion that
isn’t like this. Christianity is not about man reaching out to God, but is
truly the opposite of this statement – man has rejected God and God is seeking
after man.
