Alpha Prayer June 8

Pray for Alphas running online and transition to in-person meetings. We have these specific praise reports:

 - Thanksgiving for multiple churches working towards healing in Minneapolis. 

 - Thanksgiving for personal reflections and conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Focus verse: Romans 12:10-13 ESV

Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.

Prayer request:

 - Jesus our cornerstone, would unite us as we make disciples of all people groups

 - As leaders we would abide in Christ (John 15) and learn through experience "His yoke is easy, His burden is light", gentle, humble, soul-satisfying rest. (Matt 11:30)

 - New leaders would join Alpha Twin Cities in giving and delivering Alpha in new settings (treatment centers, schools, churches, homes). 

 - Identification of new part-time workers for Youth and prison ministry and funding.

 - Continued growth in the lives of people who have gone through Alpha ("And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Heb 10:24-25")
