Alpha Prayer July 6

Theme: give thanks to the Lord, seek His will, and intercede for Alpha in our region

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, - Eph 2:8
 - Thank you, God, for the faithfulness of your church in sending the Gospel to each of us.

If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 15:7
 - Lord, renew the hunger and thirst in me for your word. Give me more power to stand in your truth, wisdom and to do your will today.

For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14
 - Forgive us Lord, bring healing to our community, minister to each of us individually, help us to forgive.

For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Gal 5:14
 - Lord may each church in our region have a welcoming space that Alpha gives people.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Heb 4:16
 - Give us an extra measure of grace as we seek your will tonight, fill us with faith, hope, and love.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Heb 11:1
 - Lord, we praise you the creator of everything we see from what is unseen. Give us eyes to see the renewed relationships and families restored through Alpha. Thank you for bringing healing to our community.

For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Romans 8:24-25
 - Lord, thank you for the team you've brought together for the Alpha Fundraiser. Let the planning, preparation, and invitations for August 18, 7-8 pm be received with joy and excitement.

Break Out rooms:
Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, Eph 6:18
 - Lord, I pray for _______, that you would ________
