Application: Daniel being prominent in worldly power still has a right understanding of his sin and the sin of his people before our Holy God. When do I humble myself with a right understanding of my sin and the sin of my people before our Holy God? How does my time get spent in trying to understand scriptures, in prayer to God or researching commentaries? What does this say about my faith in God's ability to communicate truth to me?
