From John to Romans

I'm a big fan of BibleHub.com, it's a wonderful resource for lay people to find verses that relate to one-another and get commentary for free. On the home page they have a section titled "Key verses", I was talking to my wife about these and commented on what I thought was missing from the list and we agreed that every list attempting to summarize the Bible is going to fall short. As we prepare for Romans study next year I thought this section was particularly interesting. Jesus demonstrates his authority as the Son of God, in Acts we see the fulfillment of the promised Holy Spirit and Paul communicates the Gospel. Here's those key verses from BibleHub;

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son,

 - John 3:16-21 explains how and why people are caught in sin and in need of a savior
John 8:32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free

 - John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” (prophecy fulfilled is a key reason the Bible is trustworthy and believable).
John 11:25 I am the resurrection and the life
John 13:35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples,
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so,
John 14:6 I am the way and the truth and the life.
John 15:13 There is no greater love than to lay down one's life
Acts 1:8 You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you
Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else
Acts 17:11 The Bereans were more noble than the Thessalonians
Romans 1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;
Romans 5:8 While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life
Romans 8:28 In all things God works for the good of those who love him
Romans 8:37 We are more than conquerors through him who loved us
Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe
Romans 10:17 Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message
Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world,
