If you are too lazy to plow, don't expect a harvest

I saw this tweet today and it made me think about how Christians are to share life and help people understand what God has made available to them.
"What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? They are servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each his role. I planted the seed and Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow." - 1 Cor 3:5-7

Acts 18:24
Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, well versed in the Scriptures.
1 Corinthians 1:12
What I mean is this: Individuals among you are saying, "I follow Paul," "I follow Apollos," "I follow Cephas," or "I follow Christ."

"Dear brothers and sisters, when I was with you I couldn’t talk to you as I would to spiritual people. I had to talk as though you belonged to this world or as though you were infants in Christ. I had to feed you with milk, not with solid food, because you weren’t ready for anything stronger. And you still aren’t ready, for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn’t that prove you are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren’t you living like people of the world? When one of you says, “I am a follower of Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting just like people of the world?" - 1 Cor 3:1-4

Prayer: Lord help me to be sensitive and understand where people are in their faith journey. Give me grace to ask, admire and admit my weaknesses when speaking with others. Remove anything from my life that is offensive to you, that is hindering my relationship with you, that is not what you desire for my life. Give me grace to follow where you lead.

Thank you Lord for bringing to my mind areas of struggle. Reminders of your previous faithfulness and promised deliverance. Thank you for your word, in Jesus name - amen.

A friend last weekend told me about our mortal enemies being "the flesh, the devil and the world" These are from Eph 2:1-3 and God's marvelous grace in saving us through the resurrection of Jesus Christ (4-7) that we received in faith God granted to us, empowered to live our destiny (8-10).

What a wonderful Gospel message (Eph 2:1-10)
