Radical Intensity

Culture is increasingly hostile to Biblical Christianity.

- Persecution comes with bringing salvation to lost people. Hopelessly trapped, destined to die like boys in Thailand cave - unless someone came to save them. Rescue required trust, faith in the rescuer.
- high cost to save them, in fact a navy seal died.
- a new Christian needs nurturing, like they needed hospital care

Radical self denial,  Romans 13:14

- Spiritual vrs flesh (evil desire war in my soul) Gal 5:16-17
- following flesh, hurts ourselves and others
- Act your way into feeling, show up, do what Jesus Commands

We deny intellectual pride
- in his pride, man has no room for God
- mount Rushmore, we know the difference between random results and intentional design. What's more awesome the statue or the baby?
- the fool says in heart there is no God
