I hadn't known who made me breathe
Giver of life so I could see
Ruined family, I made it worse
Sadness, anger, hopeless, cursed
With nothing left, a gentle voice said
"This is why Jesus died and bled
He rose from the grave, His words prove true!
Give Him your life and He'll live in you!"
That day forward truth became plain
To live is Christ, to die is gain
