Jesus death on the cross for the deceived and defiant (1 John 3:4-8)

Everyone who sins is breaking God’s law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God. And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is (Deceived).

Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous.  - Lawlessness, Unrighteousness (1 John 3:4, 5:17)

I'm guilty of all of these things right now. I see this and seek God's forgiveness and strength, tools, wisdom to change to abide in Him. I repent, not as a ritual but as a mindset. I'm not held back from God, at the Cross Jesus has taken away the partition between us and God. We are allowed and welcome to come to God for forgiveness through Christ.
