Extraordinary: The Life You're Meant to Live (John Bevere)
2 Peter 1:3, everything we need to live a life that pleases God.
For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. AMP
Grace: Salvation, Devine nature
Through Faith
Heb 10:38, Just live by faith
Col 2:7, established in the faith
1 Thes 3:10, sent to supply what is lacking in your faith
2 Peter 1:3-4 The Message (MSG)
Don’t Put It Off
3-4 Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received! We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust.
New Testament revelation
The radical difference in our view of foundational things
- enslaved to the ordinary, living the way we were trained
Holy race, chosen, ambassadors, children of light….
Bound by sin, haven't received in the heart "as he is, so are we"
I am what I am by the grace of God
Bold prayer
Eph 1:18-19 AMP, flooded with light, know/understand unlimited and surpassing power - to those who believe
1 John 5:4, win by faith
John 4:17, "Power" Greek - inherit by its nature
Romans 5:17, all who received God's abundant grace live an abundant life
Just believe and then do it.
Eph 3:20-23 AMP, now him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think, the power within us.
- Limiting factor is what we can ask or think
- container (what's in your heart). Where is your faith?
Common ordinary preaching in our church.
- our own understanding, own experience, or example of people living below their means.
- we become like the ten spies. Humble/godly men not like Caleb who is arrogant, high minded.
- God's ability not ours, Jesus our role model
False comfort
Matt 17:20, you don't have enough faith 3:john 3, psalm 103: forgives sins and heals all our diseases.
Luke 8:25, where is your faith
Matt 8:26, 16:8 msg
You'll remember my words. Jesus opened their minds to the scriptures about himself. What's in the gospels and why is it there? Jesus taught after he rose from the dead and it was impactful.
Next to the river of grace we hook up to grace that forgives our sins, but not to every other area in our life
Forgiven of sins
Living holy
Healing
Prosperity
Ruling in life
Other areas

We walk in the power of God
