Genesis 1:1-25 A) God creates the heavens and earth (Let there be)
Modern man realizes that even darkness (dark matter) is something. Genesis God seperated light from darkness. Light has come into the world but the darkness has not understood it.

Genesis 1:26-2:25 B) (Let us make), God personally creates people in his image.
Genesis 2:1-3 C) God creates the sabath, celebrating and enjoying all that he created
True rest comes from reflection and replenishment from God. A deliberate focus on God. Psalm 46:10, Be still and know I AM God.
This is important for Chirstians now. Heb 11:1-7, our faith starts with we believe God created all that is seen from what is unseen.
Genesis 2:4-25 D) Lord God, personally breaths life into the first human being.
- We know that no animal can be a suitable helper. Human beings would be lost without women who help/rescue mankind from selfish men. God's love for humanity is shown in marriage.
