Noah's curse to Ham brings Babylon, blessing to Shem brings Christ (Gen 9:18-11:9)

AIM: Family conflict cultivates the "World" system, leaving hurt people misunderstood

Gen 9:18-11:9

9:18-19) Noah and three sons (Shem, Ham (Canaan), Japheth) came all who people who populate the earth

 - Jesus from Shem (Luke 3:26)

A) Noah's second life, half as good as the first

20-23) Noah, cultivated, planted a vineyard, drunk naked Ham saw, told brothers who covered Noah respectfully,

24-27) Noah cursed Canaan son of Ham, blessed Shem, blessed Japheth

 - 2-5) Japheth: Gomer (Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah), Magog, Madai, Javan (Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim - seafaring spread out language, clan, national identity) Tubal, Meshech, Tiras. 

 - 6-20) Ham: Cush (Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah (Sheba and Dedan), and Sabteca and Nimrod the first heroic warrior, Babylonia: Babylon, Erech, Akkad, and Calneh, Nineveh, Rehoboth-ir, Calah, Resen), Mizraim (Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, Naphtuhites, 14 Pathrusites, Casluhites, and the Caphtorites/Philistines), Put, and Canaan (Sidon, Hittites, Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites, 17 Hivites, Arkites, Sinites, 18 Arvadites, Zemarites, and Hamathites. The Canaanite clans eventually spread out, 19 and the territory of Canaan extended from Sidon in the north to Gerar and Gaza in the south, and east as far as Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, near Lasha)

 - 21-31) Shem: Elam, Asshure, Arphaxad (Shelah, Eber(Peleg/division, Joktan (Almodad, Sheleph, Hazamaveth, Jerah, Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, Obal, Abimael, Sheba, Ophir, Havilah, Jobab))), Lud, Aram (Uz (Job 1:1), Hul, Gether, Mash)

32) all nations came from these descendants. 

11:1-2) all people one language Babylonia settled

3-4) Brickmakers, great city, make ourselves famous,

5-7) but Lord, nothing impossible if united, confusing language, not understanding each other

8-9) In language, Lord scattered them all over the world, Babel
