GOD is our natural environment

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Heb 11:1-3

  • When GOD wanted to create fish, HE spoke to the sea.
  • When GOD wanted to create trees, HE spoke to the earth.
  • But when GOD wanted to create man, HE turned to Himself.

Then GOD said: "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness".

Note: If you take a fish out of the water it will die; and when you remove a tree from soil, it will also die. Likewise, when man is disconnected from GOD, he dies. GOD is our natural environment. We were created to live in His presence. We have to be connected to Him because it is only in Him that life exists.

Let's stay connected to GOD. We recall that

  • water without fish is still water but fish without water is nothing
  • soil without tree is stilt soil but the tree without soil is nothing
  • GOD without man is still GOD but man without GOD is nothing
My dad discovered this and shared with me and I wanted to remember it.
