55-58) 392 descendants of the servants of Solomon
59-67) 42k others who didn't have family records came as well, with 7k slaves and singers 9k livestock.
68-70) Arrival LORD's house Jerusalem, freewill offering of $24M rebuilding temple, settled in family towns.
Divisions
A) God appoints Cyrus to build the temple in Jerusalem along with those whose heart were prepared. (Ezra 1)
B) Almost 100k people respond to the call and dedicate $24 million in today's dollars to rebuild. (Ezra 2)
Subject
God appoints Cyrus and Israelites to rebuild the temple, huge response of generosity.
God stirs hearts and resources to rebuild His temple through Cyrus.
AIM: God's plans will come to pass in the hearts of people who are prepared for Him.
