Truth in today's culture is subjective and has lost it's meaning as the "the quality or state of being true." and "that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality." I saw this license plate cover and it got me thinking, what does the Bible say about truth.
Jesus said to those who believed him; "You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teaching. And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32). He said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). Jesus prayed for us, "Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth (John 17:17)." He promised in Matthew 21:22, "Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."
