Get/buy the truth and never sell it;
also get wisdom, discipline/instruction, and good judgment/understanding. - Proverbs 23:23
In Job's day people were mining, shaping iron, copper and gold. Even then, people ruled over the earth and subdued it. (Job 28:1-11). Even with all of humanity's power, the question was where shall wisdom be found when the man doesn't know his worth in life or death (Job 28:12-14)? Wisdom can't be bought with gold or valuables (Joh 28:15-19). Job realised that wisdom was only found in God's way (Job 28:20-27). God way, "fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding (Job 28:28)."
- Kingdom of heaven like treasure hidden in a field (Matt 13:44), wisdom is better than gold (Proverbs 16:16), God's law is better than gold (Psalm 119:72,127)
- Acquire wisdom and with that get understanding/good judgement (Proverbs 4:7)
- The mind of the prudent/sensible/discerning/reasonable acquires knowledge, the ear of the wise seek knowledge (Proverbs 18:15)
- Seek first the kingdom of heaven and God will supply your needs (6:33)
- Jesus is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6)
