God judges or rewards based on our actions. We put our faith and hope in God because of the resurrection of Jesus (1 Peter 1:13-21)

Application:
Rid yourself of evil behaviour (deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, unkind speech). Like newborns, crave spiritual milk - grow into the full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment having tasted of the Lord's kindness (1 Peter 2:1-3).
