Not a law to bind but a compass to guide
Love is patient (not love LOOKS patient) and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant
1 Corinthians 13:4 ESV
- it's a heart command, we need to ask God for a patient heart. Quiet heart is a listening heart is a patient heart.
God is Love, God is patient (with us, with others). He calls us to Love, to be patient
- with him, others
God never stops caring for his children.
Who are God's children? Luke 3:38
To be patient is to trust. Not religious, but reality. We can trust him in seemingly hopeless situations.
Trust is based on the certainty of what he has done and said.
We judge God based on the end of the story not the middle.

- Jesus cross
The end is all good, don't be stuck on Friday. Focus on resurrection Sunday. New week in Christ. Live the new life in Christ.
We judge God as slow to sanctify people around us. God sanctified with his Spirit, not our spirit.
Patients is a love language. Showing love is being patient. Stop nagging, gently remind, then Amen (let it be).
God demonstrates love for us with patience. 1 Tim 1:15-16
- Jesus demonstrated perfect patience
Yet it's Urgent Heb 9:27, we are dying and we don't know how much time we have.
Pray for patience to love God more. To have your heart for people around us.
