My sister Julie became ordained Pastor today. This was my notes from the message. Big idea God wants people healed and empowered us to believe and ask for miracles. Great is God working in our lives. Resurrection Life Church, a new experience for us.
Christ is the head of change
- new supernatural walk
- gifts and fruit
- micro church
- face and shade, God is changing the face of the church
- prayer focused, entirely new ways and thinking. Looking to the world, to enhance his kingdom. Outreach keeps the church healthy. To Matthew 9, great harvest, pray for laborers.
- shake the church to reach new people, with God's plan.
Holy Spirit is our helper, to do His will.
- direct and teach
- he shows the heart of God
- 1 Cor 2:9-10, revelation of God
- our job is to seek, tongues to seek God 1 Cor 14:2
- Isaiah 30:21, God opens our ears and we are directed
Action, faith steps out
- the way becomes clear when we step out
Answer, run to God for answers
- no one knows God's plan
- bind my will to his will
- Jeremiah 33:3, plans God has
Last day movement, turns the world upside down.
We know him, we'll do great exploits
- his power leads to his character
- church needs to be different than the world
NEW
- Isaiah 48:6-7, new foretold from the Lord
- Build the heavenly pattern. Unless the Lord builds it will Psalm 127:1
Good, everything of God is good. Father of heavenly lights.
- God is not a business man
- Bible instruction before leaving earth
Let my years count, strengthen your devotion. Spend time with God.
- consecration in all aspects
- prepare for the journey
- not a feeble one, healthy and strong
God wants to show the supernatural
- pray and listen
- listening ears to hear. He speaks through many ways
- think in these things, Rom 12:1-2, Philippians 3:8-14
- move by the Spirit
We have to deal with sin, ask for cleansing. Look into our heart, am I in fellowship with God.
No more gimmicks, get real
- truth, His word
- and power, see it for ourselves. See people healed, delivered and changed forever.
Jesus is the cornerstone, we are a house of God.
- 2 Cor 12:12, one body with many members
- 1 Peter 4:7-11, with the strength God provides
- equip the saints to do the work
- Palm 133, unity
- John 17, let them be one to glorify Him with their love
Eternal mindset
- not landlocked, we are just passing through
- think bigger, live wisely
- make your life count
- are you ready?
