We can believe God
Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. Remember what it says:
“Today when you hear his voice,
don’t harden your hearts
as Israel did when they rebelled.” Heb 3:12-15
When we see what's been fulfilled in foretold past, we can believe in promises for the future
We can have confidence, Heb 11:1-7
We can have hope for the future,
A conversation that lead to connection
- listen as a friend, not recommendation
- ask questions that engage, clarify and bring out more from people - rather than shut them down

- clarify: tell me more, what do you mean by that.
- Acknowledge: thank you, that sounds hard, affirm and connect
- lead to process: how are you applying that, how does that change your perspective, what's most challenging. What's your next step.
