Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Spirit of truth exalts Jesus Christ.
There's a spirit behind every idea and teaching. Devine or demonic.
Many are drowning in demonic lies about Jesus.
Unto us a child is born Isaiah 9:6, Jesus has come in the flesh 1John 4:2-3, 2:22-23
- God the Father and God the son are interconnected.
- False teachings take people further from God, deeper loss, emptiness and despair.
- False prophets promise never comes true. The good news of Jesus Christ always comes true to everyone who believes. Tangible, experiential true. Forgiveness and peace of God, peace with God. New life, changed affections. False prophets add to sorrow while Jesus Christ takes away the sorrow. All the guilt and shame is taken away.
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. - 1 John 4:4 NIV
- The Holy Spirit, lives in me, protects me and guides me in all truth.
Be a student of God's word, serious and skeptical of what you hear. Bring everything back to Jesus and the Bible. In Jesus name, the Bible will keep you out of the ditch.
