It’s not the one who plants or the one who waters who is at the center of this process but God, who makes things grow. Planting and watering are menial servant jobs at minimum wages. What makes them worth doing is the God we are serving. You happen to be God’s field in which we are working. Or, to put it another way, you are God’s house. Using the gift God gave me as a good architect, I designed blueprints; Apollos is putting up the walls. Let each carpenter who comes on the job take care to build on the foundation! 4-6) impossible to bring back to repentance, true believers who turn away from God
the true believer is defined as:
To turn away from God is to reject the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.
B) True faith bears good fruit
7-8) ground soaks rain, bears good crop it's God's blessing, BUT fields of thorns and thistles is useless and the farmer WILL SOON CONDEMN that field and burn it.
Application: Jesus be careful how you listen. We are apt to forget, and slow to learn and remember, the things of God (1 Timothy 4:7)

C) True faith has confidence in God for others betterment
9) not you, confident you're meant for better things that come with salvation
10) God is not unjust, remembers your acts of service, love and consistent obedience
11) our desire - "keep loving others as long as life lasts" in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true
- Wedding vows, "to have and to hold"
12) Application: Then you won't become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, follow the example of those who are going to inherit God's promises because of their faith and endurance
