Misunderstanding faith, it's about Jesus not me

It's not about sincerity. It's about fruit. The natural outgrowth of your faith.
Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.
James 2:26 NLT
Faith without works is a faith that doesn't work.

A tree is recognized by it's fruit.
The Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5), not of the flesh.

“A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit...  A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.
Luke 6:43‭, ‬45 NLT

Faith is not just something you say, feel or believe.
 - Not easy believing.

How do we know our faith is real? Its about the order. God saved by grace, by the gift of faith. Saved for good works he's prepared for us.

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Ephesians 2:8‭-‬10 NLT

True faith results in life change. You'll love God, appreciate the work of Jesus and walk in the Spirit. This is being led in truth. Guided by God into good works.
