Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Luke 11:2, Matthew 6:9)

Enjoying kingdom-come-prayer based on Luke 11:2. Excited to have started Alpha Series 21 at MNTC this week and have been in prayer for A.J., Marcus, Stacy, Liam, and Skyler. We talked about the joy of family and children, helping me remember my nieces and nephews and extended cousins and aunts and uncles. Life with family is a blessing and God wants us to tell us about it. That's what I think heaven is all about. In Alpha we think about what we would ask God. "Tell me about yourself" and "Show me who has come before me" and "Help me understand how Father, Son, and Spirit are one"

Lord, I believe you will tell us and show us and help us as we've asked. Thank you for your love demonstrated in family and friends. Thank you for the good things you are doing in our society and for bringing so many faithful helpers into my life. Where we be without you and without people you've placed in our lives. May I never take it for granted and give me a willing heart to see your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen
