A) Magi Follow the star to worship Jesus, king of the Jews (Matthew 2:1-12)

B) Guided by God, Joseph flees to Egypt (Matthew 2:13-18)

C) Herod dies and Joseph goes to Natherith (Matthew 2:19-23)

I like movies, especially science fiction and its sub-genres. Doonby came out in 2013 and it illustrates what a difference a child can make for a whole community of people. It has a pro-life message and a surprising ending. Someday I'll publish a story about the person, who became a teacher to the Magi, Missionary. As I was studying Matthew 2, I kept thinking how God guides and protects us, often more than we realize. My hope you can discover God's guidance and protection in your life. 

1-8) Magi followed the star in search of the King of the Jews

9-12) Magi offered worship and treasure to Jesus

13-18) Joseph took his family to Egypt, escaping Herod's hatred

19-23) God guides Joesph to return to Israel

Obeying God is rewarding and life-saving. God's Sovereignty means he's in charge and can effect any circumstance, it's a reason to pray to God for specific help.  

The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. - Psalm 103:19

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28
