Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth (John 17:17)

The mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. Romans 8:6

Satan attacks your mind because when you believe a lie, he can work in your life to lead you to sin. Don't dwell on lies rather:

Whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, good repute, excellence, worthy of praise, dwell on these things Phil 4:8

  • God's righteousness is available to all who repent and receive forgiveness today. Hebrews 3:15 tells us "if you hear his voice", we need a quiet mind, a steadfast mind to listen (Isaiah 26:3). This is a good thing to ask for and is actually necessary in order to "dwell on these things." The idea of "if you hear his voice, don't harden your heart" is from Psalm 95:7-8
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Phil 4:4-7
  • Today is a new day to experience the mercy of God, not yesterday's mercies but today's mercy. (manna, daily bread, "fresh start")
  • The Lord is revealing to me "How often I disobeyed Him in the wilderness and grieved Him in the desert (Psalm 78:40)" - I never want to go back to that grave, he has placed my feet upon solid ground. I will walk by faith (2 Cor 5:7), clearly seeing the hope he has given me by the fruit of the Spirit (Romans 8:23-25, Gal 5:5:22-24)
