Show me your nail scared hands

In worship and preparation for sharing my testimony of healing at MNTC Healing night a week ago I had a vision. Seeing Jesus in heaven, I could ask Jesus anything - so I said show me your hands and I looked and saw all my pride, and rebellion visually my tattoos in Jesus redeemed body. It reminded me of Kelsey saying as a baby "auwe " when she caught a glimpse of my tattoo. It also reminded me of the Prayer Course where they illustrated our lives as a Kintsugi Vase, broken but then put back together with precious metals.

2 Corinthians 4:7 "But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. NIV", "We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves."

The NIV describes 2 Cor 4 as "Present Weakness and Resurrection Life", NLT "Treasure in Fragile Clay Jars", MSG "Trial and Torture", I describe as this picture "God's grace reaches for you":

"When you did this for the least of these you did this for me." Matthew 25, we get to witness God at work when we speak light and life into people, "you will be my witness" Acts 1.

This morning listening to Always Pray First and Trust In God | Blessed Morning Prayer To Start Your Day Reminded that I should share this personal story, as I was also listening to psychologies yesterday that said, "don't over share."  - his point was don't live in the past trauma, but live forward and practice being the person you want to be.

Like Jesus we go from

"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? Psalm 22:1, Mark 15:34

to

"Let the rich of the earth feast and worship. Bow before him, all who are mortal, all whose lives will end as dust. Our children will also serve him. Future generations will hear about the wonders of the Lord. His righteous acts will be told to those not yet born. They will hear about everything he has done." Psalm 22:29-31, John 19:30

Songs

Cross References from 2 Cor 4:7, why God leads us to have faith where no other way is possible revealed in our fragile lives:
  • Then the LORD said to Gideon, "You have too many people for Me to deliver Midian into their hands, lest Israel glorify themselves over Me, saying, 'My own hand has saved me.' - Judges 7:2
  • how much more those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundations are in the dust, who can be crushed like a moth! - Job 4:19
  • Please remember that You molded me like clay. Would You now return me to dust? - Job 10:9
  • I am just like you before God; I was also formed from clay. - Job 33:6
  • How the precious sons of Zion, once worth their weight in pure gold, are now esteemed as jars of clay, the work of a potter's hands! - Lamentations 4:2
  • I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!" - John 16:33
  • so that your faith would not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.  - 1 Corinthians 2:5

John 12:26,32,36, 39-41, 44-45,13:20 the Lord revealed this truth about ministry, Christian living and the gospel of Jesus:
  • "Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me. John 13:20
