I love how Bible study and prayer bring ideas to mind. Years ago I heard someone say, "In terms of idea sharing; 1 + 1 = 3, when we share an idea with each other we get more than our original ideas." When I write down what I'm learning and thinking about, I start to see connections. I think this is how the Holy Spirit work in us to will and to act according to his good purposes (Philippians 2:13).
Here's my progression of thought that brought me to this verse again today:

Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed, for he shares his bread with the poor (Proverbs 22:9 ESV)

bringing me to these cross-references:
- There is one who scatters and yet increases all the more, and there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want (Proverbs 11:24)
- Generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered (Proverbs 11:25)
- One who is gracious to a poor man lends to the LORD, And He will repay him for his good deed (Proverbs 19:17)
Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return (Gal 6:7)...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9)
