I had a great meeting with my friend Brian, after being acquainted for a few years, he came to me and sat down in the cafeteria. We talked about career, market changes and finally our religious background. He's Methodist, not a churchgoer - as the church, his wife goes to has a "used car sales" feel. I know what he's talking about, and why some try to "close the deal" every spiritual conversation. Andy Stanley talks about, the approach is everything. He wants you to fall in love with Jesus - but rightly understands we only set up the appointments/dates. The "fall in love" is God and the individual.
