Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.

In our nature. We see a sign "don't do _____", then we do it. Our speed limit is the "slowest limit"
God is love, therefore God rejoices with the truth. We are to love God, therefore rejoice in truth.
God is happy when we are obedient.
Heb 1:9, About Jesus: "You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions."
We can't love God and love what he hates or hate what he loves.

2 Thessalonians 2:12
in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.
Rejoicing rightly means judging right. Spirit of truth, convicts the world of sin, righteous and JUDGMENT.
Matt 7, on judging - don't be hypocritical, repent so you can help one another.
The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.
Psalms 119:160 ESV
Love doesn't celebrate in wrong-doing. Because I love you, "I can't celebrate that event "
Jesus is full of grace and full of truth, neither is watered down.
What we love bubbles out. A spring welling up.
