I love what 1 John 5 says about effective prayer
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and we can know this by love for his children and obedience to Him, we can overcome the world that is "in the power of the evil one" and help eachother live in the Spirit of truth. Again we see the phrase "in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life" (Psalm 118). Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

Stand before God for the people so you may bring the difficulties to God.
