Finding the freedom, promised by Jesus (2 Cor 3:16-18)

Talking with my dad yesterday about evangelism, handing out Bibles, and sharing the gospel. I thought about how odb.org is such a great resource and it's free. They also have high-quality videos on youtube as well. Instruments of Peace. I get a quarterly pack our daily bread and give them out at MNTC along with the Why Jesus? booklet during alpha.

2 Cor 3:17

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Cor 3:16-18

 - The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; - Isaiah 61:1

 - And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place where it was written, The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me ,  Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor.  He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives,  And recovery of sight to the blind,  To set free those who are oppressed, To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord ." - Luke 4:18‭-‬19 NASB

Language reveals truth that saves lives (sets prisoners free to live righteously) - Luke 4:18
